Description: Shopping center and mall location information was collected by the Office of Economic and Business Development (no longer in existence). Currently, the Office of Business Engagement uses it in the Business Portal to provide supplemental information for site selection decisions. At the very least it is updated annually every summer but can be updated throughout the year as needed. Data is maintained by checking Google to see if a location has closed or changed names. New locations are added by browsing local news sources and using Google.
