A block is the smallest area that is surrounded by streets. It is usually composed of multiple lots. A block is useful for spatial analyis and cartography. Blocks vary in size and shape and reflect the transportation pattern of the area.

This dataset is processed from cdParcels. cdParcels is input into a geoprocessing tool where parcels are dissolved based on municipality and the block field. Then, that data is loaded into an empty Block feature class. This occurs on a monthly basis to ensure current data.

See cdParcles metadata for more information on source data.

This layer provides Middlesex County with the latest tax map Block boundaries that are within Middlesex County.
Tax Blocks
block", "parcels", "parcel", "property", "tax", "boundary", "mod4", "assessor", "boundaries", "tax map", "block", "lot", "cadastral", "cadastre
